Latium is located in the central western Italy and stretches from the Tyrrhenian Sea to the western Apennines. The Roman Empire was founded here in Rome, the capital of Latium. It is known as the 'Eternal City' and it is also the capital of Christendom and Seat of the Vatican, in one word Rome is a unique place in the world

Latium is a land of great natural charm with an extraordinary variety of landscapes: wide beaches, great pinewoods, mountains like Terminillo (famous ski resort), gentle hills and expansive plains.

It is rich in culture, art, religion, archeology, artistic monuments that recall a long and extraordinary history.
