The ski resort of Solda is located at the foot of Mount Ortles, the highest mountain (3.905 meters a.s.l.) of South Tyrol. This ski resort offers the most modern cable car lifts in a wonderful scenery of snow, sun and fun besides the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Also, it offers slopes of different difficulty and high-quality security system. Besides that, Sold is set in a fantastic world of mountains and glaciers, that makes your holiday here a unique experience!

Some of its most interesting slopes: the "Discesa Famiglia" (Family slope) is an easy and scenic track, or the 2.5 km long Kanonenrohr, which is a very steep and narrow black slope with beautiful and breathtaking views.

Thanks to the altitudes ranging from 1,900 to 3,250 meters above sea level and the efficiency of the snowmaking equipment, you can ski on the beautiful slopes of Solda from October until the beginning of May.

The fun for snowboarding enthusiasts will certainly not be lacking: just visit the new fun park "Madriccio". In addition, night skiing is also possible on the track to "Pupito" which is floodlit three times a week.

Cross-country skiing is possible as well along a network of 8 kilometers of tracks on the valley floor. On the same tracks, it is possible to ski at night, as they are floodlit.

For lovers of ski mountaineering, Solda is a real paradise. Mount Ortles, Mount Gran Zebù and the near groups of mountains offer unlimited possibilities and tracks of any level and difficulty. You can even hire an alpine guide at Scuola d'Alpinismo Ortler (The Mountaineering School Ortler).
